Event Record
【Event】 Participated in the MIRAI Global Challenges Internship (Study Visit) Program.
MIRAI is an international collaborative research project involving seven universities in Japan and ten universities in Sweden.
From November 16 to 21, 2025, one SPRING student from our university participated in the “MIRAI Global Challenges Internship (Study Visit) Program” hosted by MIRAI.
This program was held in Gothenburg, Sweden’s industrial hub, targeting young researchers. Its purpose was to cultivate next-generation leaders through interactive collaboration between industry and the public sector.
<Participants’ Feedback>
Through the MIRAI Program, I gained a multifaceted understanding of the skilled labor shortage challenges facing our declining birthrate society and gained clearer insight into the role my research on AI automation technology can play.
Discussions with researchers from different fields provided a valuable opportunity to broaden my perspective beyond technical challenges to include societal acceptance and ethical considerations.
In particular, visiting companies and institutions allowed me to directly learn about the changing skill structures demanded by industrial settings. This experience reaffirmed the social significance of my research, and I intend to actively apply the knowledge gained here to my future research activities.
