【Event】 We held a graduation report session.
On March 9th, we held a graduation report session to mark the milestone of sending off the first SPRING graduates since the program began at Sophia university.
Amidst a warm atmosphere, the SPRING graduates delivered their “final speeches” to the current students.
In the speeches,
① Experiences gained through SPRING and lessons learned in research and daily life
② Future career paths and aspirations
③ Encouragement and practical advice for current students
These three themes served as the core focus for deepening exchanges among D1 to D3 students.
“I was able to successfully complete my doctoral research activities thanks to the SPRING students who pushed me to excel.” “SPRING allowed me to gain so many different experiences.” Alongside these reports of fruitful SPRING activities, accompanied at times by laughter, a series of valuable and memorable messages were delivered.
These messages provided current students with concrete clues to envision their future just one step ahead.
Following the speech, we presented the SOPHIA SPRING Project “Certificate of graduation” to celebrate their new beginnings.
The venue was filled with the radiant expressions of graduates and the warm applause of current students, creating a deeply memorable time enveloped in smiles and congratulations.
It was a moment that conveyed SPRING’s journey thus far and the expansive future yet to unfold.
I expect that the SPRING community, where doctoral students from completely different fields have gathered, will continue to thrive on the path ahead.
