[Seminar] We held a design seminar for research presentations.
On June 27, 2025, we held an online seminar titled “Communicating Design Seminar for Research Presentations: The Basics of Design for Presentations and Posters.”
On the day of the event, we learned about the design of presentations and poster presentations, from the characteristics of fonts and points on how to choose fonts to color schemes and layout methods, and learned the basics of creating materials that are much easier to read just by suppressing rules and techniques rather than special senses.
We received many highly satisfied comments, such as “I learned a lot because it was something that I could incorporate immediately,” and “It is very useful because I don’t have many opportunities to learn about the design of the presentation itself, such as the use of fonts, graphs, and colors.”
